UGU South Coast Tourism (UGUSCT) is the overall authority for Tourism covering the area from Scottburgh to Port Edward. However as the South Coast has many diverse attractions and therefore appeals to tourists with a diversity of tastes, each specific area has its own Tourism sub-committee which serves as the liaison between local vendors, ratepayers and UGUSCT.

The Southbroom/Mpenjati Tourism area sub-committee is the representative body for the area covering Southbroom, Marina Beach, San Lamer and Trafalgar, which includes two pristine Golf Courses, a first class Hotel, numerous affordable and up-market holiday accommodation establishments, several high quality restaurants, wild life reserves and of course stunning beaches and some of the most outstanding homes on the South Coast.

Many exciting events are organised throughout the year and some interesting new tourist attractions are in the pipeline for the area. The committee will continue to drive these projects to attract tourists to local accommodation establishments

The representative Committee is elected from volunteers from the Tourism industry within the specific area.
